A public event, translated as it unfolded.

Working from the audience and beside the stage, Ching-Yi observed gestures, speakers and shared moments in real time. Each drawing became both an immediate record and a meaningful original to carry beyond the event.

A Taiwan-based artist drawing people as life happens.

Ching-Yi Wu is a live event illustrator and watercolor sketch artist. Her practice began through drawing people in public spaces and grew into a way of meeting the world — quickly, sensitively and with color.

For organisations and brands, she brings that same attentive eye into the room: capturing not only who was there, but how the moment felt.
